Travel light!

This will make travelling between places easier; if you are using private transfers between accommodations then this eradicates the problem but if you are using public transportation, the less you carry the easier getting from one place to another becomes.

Many city centers are closed off to traffic and in train and bus terminals there are often no elevators or escalators. Backpacks are the best option rather than heavy and bulky luggage on wheels.

If you are travelling during May through October, swimming costumes are a must, sandals including rubber beach sandals as many can be rocky or stoney.

Flippers, goggles and diving masks will undoubtedly allow you to explore the exciting and fascinating seabed.

Suncream, hat and sunglasses are a must but bring also a fleece and light jacket for the cooler evenings.

Comfortable and light sneakers are recommended for your day excursions and during your transfers as often you might find yourself covering longer distances to get to shops, main attractions, public transportation and restaurants. If you are an avid following of fashion, don’t forsake comfort!

Restaurants and local bars generally have a more informal dress code so it is sufficient for ladies to bring a couple of light evening dresses and gentlemen a shirt to feel at ease even in one of the more refined restaurants.

Eletricity outlets are 230V with a frequency of 50Hz; we suggest you bring an adaptor with you or they can be purchased upon arrival.

Pharmacies are readily available and you will find most medicines so don’t worry about bringing a stockpile with you; you will find most prescriptions for common allergies and ailments.
